Abstract

This page outlines the process for establishing a Contract for Event Proposals at ColivingLiguria. This is the legal document for the organizer, signed after an idea is approved via the Propose an Event page. As we are a new project, this contract will be co-created with the first organizers. All interested parties must contact Simone Testino directly to draft the agreement.

This Contract is a Collaboration

This is the legal agreement between you (the Organizer) and Coliving Liguria. It is different from the Contract for Events, which is the separate agreement signed by all attendees.

We are in the very early stages of our project. We do not have a fixed PDF template for every type of event yet. Our goal is to create the first contract (e.g., for the first yoga retreat, or the first tech workshop) together with you, the first organiser. This allows us to build a fair, simple, and effective agreement.

The First Step: Contact Me

After your initial idea has been submitted via the Propose an Event page and discussed, the next step is to create the formal contract.

To do this, you must contact me, Simone Testino, directly. We will finalise the details and co-create the agreement.

The Two Event Models

We will base our contract on one of two simple models:

  1. The Marketing-Driven Model (Free Event)

    • This is for organizers who want to host an event for community and marketing benefits (e.g., a free skills-sharing workshop).
    • You get: A free venue, promotion on our Social Media, and potentially free accommodation.
    • We get: A great event for our community.
    • The Contract: Will be very simple, formalising that the event is free for all attendees and defining the resources we provide.

  2. The Financial-Driven Model (Ticketed/Paid Event)

    • This applies if you wish to charge an entry fee (e.g., for a paid multi-day retreat or workshop).
    • The Contract: This will be a more detailed profit-sharing agreement. It will clearly state:
      • All residents of Coliving Liguria attend for free.
      • A clear percentage split of ticket revenue between you and Coliving Liguria.
      • Who manages the ticketing (via our Event Registration system).

This contract is one part of our legal framework. You should also be aware of:

  • Propose an Event: The main policy page you must follow to get your idea approved before we can write this contract.
  • Contract for Events: The separate contract that all your attendees (both residents and external guests) must sign to be on the property.

I Due Modelli di Evento

Baseremo il nostro contratto su uno dei due semplici modelli:

  1. Il Modello Basato sul Marketing (Evento Gratuito)

    • Questo è per gli organizzatori che vogliono ospitare un evento per i benefici di community e marketing (ad esempio, un workshop gratuito di condivisione delle competenze).
    • Tu ricevi: Una location gratuita, promozione sui nostri Social Media e potenzialmente alloggio gratuito.
    • Noi riceviamo: Un fantastico evento per la nostra comunità.
    • Il Contratto: Sarà molto semplice, formalizzando che l’evento è gratuito per tutti i partecipanti e definendo le risorse che forniamo.

  2. Il Modello Basato sulla Finanza (Evento a Pagamento)

    • Questo si applica se desideri far pagare un biglietto d’ingresso (ad esempio, per un ritiro o un workshop a pagamento di più giorni).
    • Il Contratto: Sarà un accordo di profit-sharing più dettagliato. Specificherà chiaramente:
      • Tutti i residenti di Coliving Liguria partecipano gratuitamente.
      • Una chiara suddivisione percentuale dei ricavi dei biglietti tra te e Coliving Liguria.
      • Chi gestisce la biglietteria (tramite il nostro sistema di Event Registration).
