Abstract
This page outlines the application process for students from European universities who wish to conduct a Curricular Internship at ColivingLiguria or Luna through the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme. This is the primary and most streamlined legal path for an unpaid internship.
Our Internship Philosophy
We believe in providing real-world educational experiences. Our internships are structured as curricular traineeships, meaning they are part of your official university studies and are designed to provide you with academic credits (ECTS).
This process is built upon a formal, triangular legal agreement between you (the Student), your University (the Promoting Body), and us (the Host Organisation).
How to Apply: The Erasmus+ Path
This process is specifically for students whose university is a participant in the Erasmus+ programme.
Initial Contact
Your first step is to send a formal application email to colivingliguria@gmail.com. This email must include two mandatory attachments:
- Your full Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A copy of your valid Passport or National ID card
In the email, please also briefly state your motivation and which project (ColivingLiguria or Luna) you are interested in.
The Interview
If your profile matches our needs, we will invite you to schedule a video call with the founder, Simone Testino, to discuss your motivation, skills, and the specifics of the potential traineeship.
The Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT)
This is the central document of the entire process. If the interview is successful, the procedure is as follows:
- You Provide a Contact: You must provide the official email address of the international or traineeship office at your university.
- We Send the Agreement: The founder will send the Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT), already signed by the Host Organisation, from the official certified email address (simone.testino@legalmail.it) to your university’s contact. An example of this is uploaded in Contract for Internship.
- You are CC’d: You will be included in the CC field of this email.
University Obligations: Insurance (Crucial)
For the internship to be legally valid in Italy, your university (the “Sending Institution”) must fulfil its obligations under the Erasmus+ programme.
- Sign the LAT: Your academic coordinator must review and sign the LAT and send it back.
- Guarantee Insurance: The university must certify (usually in a dedicated section of the LAT) that you are covered for the entire duration of your stay by:
- Workplace Accident Insurance (equivalent to Italian INAIL)
- Third-Party Liability Insurance (RC)
This is a non-negotiable legal requirement in Italy, even for office-based work. We assume the total cost for this complete insurance coverage is below €50 per month. This cost is expected to be covered by the university. However, in cases where the university lacks the funds or the procedure is too complicated, the student is free to cover this expense personally to finalise the agreement.
Costs and Residency
As this is a formal curricular traineeship (not employment), there is no salary.
- Accommodation Contribution: You will be required to pay a weekly contribution of €30 to €50. This covers your accommodation and utilities.
- Food: Food is not included in this contribution, as will be specified in your residency contract.
- Residency Contract: You will be required to sign the standard Contract for Residents. The specific template for interns is found in our Contract for Internship policy.
Final Step: Onboarding
After the Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT) has been signed by all three parties (you, your university, and us), you will be officially accepted.
From that point, you will proceed with the standard Onboarding process to be formally enrolled as a resident, which includes signing the Contract for Residents. This internship procedure must be completed before the standard onboarding begins.

Questo è il percorso legale principale e più snello per un tirocinio non retribuito.
La Nostra Filosofia di Tirocinio
Crediamo nel fornire esperienze formative concrete. I nostri tirocini sono strutturati come tirocini curriculari, il che significa che fanno parte del tuo percorso di studi universitario ufficiale e sono progettati per fornirti crediti formativi (CFU/ECTS).
Questo processo si basa su un accordo legale formale e triangolare tra te (lo Studente), la tua Università (l’Ente Promotore) e noi (il Soggetto Ospitante).
Come Candidarsi: Il Percorso Erasmus+
Questo processo è specifico per gli studenti la cui università partecipa al programma Erasmus+.
Contatto Iniziale
Il tuo primo passo è inviare un’email di candidatura formale a colivingliguria@gmail.com. Questa email deve includere due allegati obbligatori:
- Il tuo Curriculum Vitae (CV) completo
- Una copia del tuo Passaporto o Carta d’Identità nazionale validi
Nell’email, ti preghiamo anche di indicare brevemente la tua motivazione e a quale progetto (ColivingLiguria o Luna) sei interessato.
Il Colloquio
Se il tuo profilo corrisponderà alle nostre esigenze, ti inviteremo a pianificare una videochiamata con il fondatore, Simone Testino, per discutere la tua motivazione, le tue competenze e i dettagli specifici del potenziale tirocinio.
Il Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT)
Questo è il documento centrale dell’intero processo. Se il colloquio avrà esito positivo, la procedura è la seguente:
- Fornisci un Contatto: Devi fornire l’indirizzo email ufficiale dell’ufficio internazionale o tirocini della tua università.
- Inviamo l’Accordo: Il fondatore invierà il Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT), già firmato dal Soggetto Ospitante, dall’indirizzo di posta certificata (
simone.testino@legalmail.it) al contatto della tua università. - Sei in CC: Sarai incluso in ‘Cc’ (copia conoscenza) in questa email.
Obblighi dell’Università: Assicurazione (Cruciale)
Affinché il tirocinio sia legalmente valido in Italia, la tua università (la “Sending Institution”) deve adempiere ai suoi obblighi previsti dal programma Erasmus+.
- Firmare il LAT: Il tuo coordinatore accademico deve revisionare e firmare il LAT e rispedircelo.
- Garantire l’Assicurazione: L’università deve certificare (solitamente in una sezione dedicata del LAT) che sarai coperto per l’intera durata della tua permanenza per:
- Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro (equivalente all’INAIL italiano)
- Assicurazione per la Responsabilità Civile verso Terzi (RC)
Questo è un requisito legale non negoziabile in Italia, anche per lavori d’ufficio. Stimiamo che il costo totale per questa copertura assicurativa completa sia inferiore a 50€ al mese. Ci si aspetta che questo costo sia coperto dall’università. Tuttavia, nei casi in cui l’università non avesse i fondi o la procedura fosse troppo complicata, lo studente è libero di coprire personalmente questa spesa per finalizzare l’accordo.
Costi e Residenza
Trattandosi di un tirocinio curriculare formale (non di lavoro), non è previsto uno stipendio.
- Contributo Alloggio: Ti sarà richiesto un contributo settimanale da €30 a €50. Questo copre il tuo alloggio e le utenze.
- Vitto: Il vitto (cibo) non è incluso in questo contributo, come sarà specificato nel tuo contratto di residenza.
- Contratto di Residenza: Ti verrà richiesto di firmare il Contract for Residents standard. Il modello specifico per i tirocinanti si trova nella nostra policy Contract for Internship.
Passo Finale: Onboarding
Dopo che il Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT) sarà stato firmato da tutte e tre le parti (tu, la tua università e noi), sarai ufficialmente accettato.
Da quel momento, procederai con il processo standard di Onboarding per essere formalmente registrato come residente, che include la firma del Contract for Residents. Questa procedura di tirocinio deve essere completata prima che inizi l’onboarding standard.
